I just assumed it would be CLT, kind of a head scratcher to me.

Thoughts....

I find it funny that everyone thinks Lance Thompson should be the RC or DC or both....has anyone stopped to  think that maybe he likes his role that he has just fine?

Recruiting Coordinator doesn't mean best recruiter. It means best organizer. Joseph will do fine, and this probably allows Thompson more time to recruit.

Right decision in my mind.

RC isnt necessarily the best recruiter, it gives Lance more time to go out and recruit if he isn't the RC

Exactly!!!! The more time CLT has to recruit the better off we will be. Chaney will coach up the RB's great too I think. Loving it! Go Vols!

No doubt, almost any coach can coach running backs or wide receivers. Quarterbacks and O-line is where you have to have really knowledgeable coaches, the other two are usually were your best recruiters are coaching. Chaney will have no problem switching to running backs, I just wonder how good Hinshaw will be with QBs...

Good point. Although, I think for them to let Hinshaw take the reins on our young inexperienced QB's they must know he can get the job done.:good!:

Agree....plus I'm wondering how well Joseph will coach DBs. Also, whom do you guys think will be chiefly responsible for prospect evaluation on defense?....Wilcox?...Thompson?...Joseph?...Dooley?

Got to believe it will be Wilcox if CDD is going to let him run his style of defense.

I think all the coaches will have their say, it will be a "Team" effort in the evaluation phase of recruiting.
