Texas A&M QB - Haynes King in transfer portal

Because ideally you want 4 scholarship QBs on the roster... and we don't know if Milton will turn the corner and it is never ideal to start a Fr or underdeveloped RS Fr unless you are as loaded as Bama has been when doing it.

GO back and re-read the debates from Heupel's first spring and August. There was a contingent absolutely sure that H Bailey was the solution. Many if not most wrote Hooker off and especially after they brought Milton in. You had Shrout and Maurer in that conversation too. NOTHING turned out as most expected.

You need competition. You need good options.
Have you really watched Haynes underwear King? He’s terrible!

I was answering the general question of why UT should be looking at the portal for a QB. I don't know who that might be but am skeptical of big program busts generally.

I was answering the general question about Haynes King who the thread was started about. I never said we don’t need another QB, I said we don’t need him!

Could’ve sworn I saw Haynes King doing the Dr Pepper scholarship toss earlier. His form is very distinguishable.

Till he’s not. Are you confident enough that he can lead us to a victory over Florida in the swamp?
Cam Rising couldn’t do that and he just skulldragged a USC team that was a guaranteed playoff contender.

Peyton Manning couldn’t even do that.

So I’m curious then, what’s your answer? Who the hell would you go get that would make you feel confident in beating Florida at home?

You seem like a casual so I’m gonna spell this out for you: It’s insanely difficult to win in this conference on the road, regardless of circumstance. It doesn’t matter who you have back there taking the snaps. That’s how this sport works.

It’s what makes this sport so damn beautiful. Anything can happen on the road in this conference, especially at night.

I'm just curious how people will feel about Milton being our starter next year if we were to get absolutely run off the field.
