Texas A&M vs Louisville

It amazes me how A&M still recruits well with being this bad of a football team.

Maybe make it 25 yard penalty instead of ejecting players - I doubt any go out of their way to commit the foul as it is

25 yards or ejection and no yards. That would be hilarious to watch a coach decide whether his player is worth 25 yards and the players reaction after a coach chooses the ejection.

I don't like the ejections either. I don't have as much of a problem with the textbook targeting fouls (defender launches himself like a missile and hits the offensive player in the head with his helmet or shoulder). I hate the targeting penalty when a offensive player ducks into a hit. Sometimes it's almost impossible for a defender to avoid hitting a receiver in the helmet.

MCB announced 50,000 plus tickets sold.

20,000 of them came dressed as empty seats.

no excuse either that's an easy drive from Louisville..probably closer than Knoxville..A&M probably not excited for team as they usually travel better

AM's problem is they brought a ton of people to Nashville a little over a month ago for the Vandy game and they likely weren't too keen on returning to the same place.

Scott Ramsey the CEO of the Music City Bowl was asked about that today on Nashville radio and he said they thought about that but were assured that AM fans were as rabid as any and would travel anywhere. I think that was a mishap by the SEC/MCB. Arkansas or State would've traveled more IMO.

Whoops, I didn't see your post. Well stated!

Georgia has the same problem in returning to Jacksonville. Odd moves by the SEC

At least Jacksonville is a shorter drive for Georgia fans compared to Nashville for A&M.
