Me too! We don't play the Aggies this yr so it doesn't affect us in away what their season is like. Mizzou I want to win all non conference. Beat the s**t out of Vandy and ky, and give the other east teams good games and beat them up. Now DJ u know your going to be rooting for mizzou vs USC if it helps us in the division standings??? Biting ur tongue I'm sure but still doing it. Ha!

circumstantial, and only matters if it betters my team.

True. I like his enthusiasm but went a little to far with that. I think they could close the gap a little in the right direction if they have success but that's about it. If they ever get the tx/Aggie game back on yearly and the Aggies dominate tx cause the SEC has gotten them better than that will good for them.

Just don't see much success with the bad coaching hires, and moving into the west. So of course tx will still laugh at them.

Yes, a bit to enthusiastic and maybe I'm an SEC homer. But I also look at what Texas has done, basically put themselves on an island. I would think that if A&M can find a bit of success in the west - take care of Arky and put on a show against 'bama and LSU - they will be pulling some recruits from Texas. A&M could very well be 6-1 when LSU meets them in CS. Who knows,,they could surprise Arky and be 7-0,,,and would be ranked. Keep in mind I am not an A&M homer. I just really dislike Texas and what they have done. I also did not like the expansion but have accepted the reality of it. IMO,,A&M brings a lot of tradition, has a great fan base, and I hope they slobberknock the turds.

IMO the biggest bump for aTm recruiting will be in Texas and it will be the players that couldn't get to UTjr and previously went to OU.

It has nothing to do with that to me. UF's record going into our game with them is irrelevant. I just want A&M to get destroyed because they are nothing but a bunch of whiny babies who had to run to the SEC for help because they were upset about being Texas' kid brother. I hate UF as much as the next guy, but I won't ever wish any success of aTm now. Hopefully UF, and the rest of the SEC as the year goes on, makes them sorry they ever left the Big XII

how would anyone be sorry they left the big 12 for the sec?

you are really gonna hate it when nc state and maryland/cincinnati show up

I think that A&M will benefit big time with the move to the SEC. I think that they made the smart move and I can't blame them one bit.

Would you want to stay in the SEC if Bama got more money than everyone else in the confrence? I don't think so.

I see what u r saying and agree with what you say. Deal is that UTjr is the dominant school in the state. The gap between them and the Aggies is bigger than Bama over auburn when it comes to instate competition for recruits. UTjr may be down now but they won't let it get to bad. They also pull whatever player they want, and I don't see how the Aggies can change that shy of dominating the SEC long term.

I think the poster who said that the Aggies r gonna hurt OU has a good pt. Aggies in south tx and Houston. Still think NTX will be the TX/OU battle grounds, but the Aggies could be more successful. Of course it all depends on how well they do. Obviously Arky is gonna get a boost in NTX and east TX and LsU in south east tx areas and Houston....not that they needed any more.

RR hit it spot-on. TAMU bolted, as did NEB, because Texas got greedy (ESPN deal / Longhorn Channel) unwilling to share/spread the wealth. OU and Okie ST were close to leaving---that fire is still smoldering.

Both Mizzou and TAMU bring to the SEC successful Athletic Dept's.

I want Florida undefeated coming into Neyland. I want it to be a good game to watch and Florida to get beat up some too.

I want the Aggies to be bottom feeders for a while too. I think they will be too. Horrible coaching staff hires IMO. But that's the Aggies for ya.
