Texas girls basketball team loses 100-0.

I was just hearing about this on Mike and Mike. Said they were pressing and shooting 3s very late in the game. I think the school that won is going to forfeit.

Supposedly the losing team has about 20 girls to pick from, and the school is mainly known for like students with learning disabilities.

Also, they withdrew their girls team from the district for the rest of the season, and I've heard the coach that won could be fired

So we're expecting a team not to play their full potential? While I personally wouldn't have ran up the score, I do not look down on them for doing so. It is the opposing team's job to stop you, not yourself.

But you do not full court press the other team and continue to shoot 3s when you are up by that many.

Seriously....the opposing team was a school that consists of 20 girls with learning disabilities. The team that won was pressing the full court and shooting 3's until they hit 100. This is disgraceful.

Learning disabilties not mentally challenged. The article states thier learning disabilities are "a short attention span or dyslexia". So what do these two learning disabilities have to do with thier athletic ability. Thier are many successful individuals that have dyslexia and short attention spans.

Here is a list of famous people with dyslexia.
Famous People with the Gift of Dyslexia

Given the coach should not have run up the score but life isn't fair and his team wanted to put thier name in the record books. Hell, Georgia Tech beat Cumberland College 222-0.

Start the bashing. :)

You've been living in 'SOO PIG HAWG LAND' too long,, this was a supposed Christian School to boot - the coach should be banned.

As a youth coach this is about as low as it gets. Yes you play to win. But shooting 3's and pressing to run up the score is uncalled for. As a coach you are teaching more than a game. This doesn't send the right message.
