Good. The forum IQ just went up a notch.

We can go to the political forum and match intellect anytime you want Grand, although your head might explode from having to debate someone who doesn't agree with your right-wing garbage.

Word on the street is they are going after a new coach and it's not Herman. I've heard they are prepared to pay 12 to 15 million a year plus the buy out.Would be a glorious day on Volnation.Anyone else hear anything on this.

If I'm not mistaken Saban doesn't have a buyout.

All I'm saying is this.....talk this Saban to Texas chit up as much as possible. I want the Bammer faithful to blow chit through a screen door they're so nervous. Eff every damn one of those bastards. IF we can somehow make their miserable lives more miserable then I'm all in.

I doubt they're very nervous.

Half of the US population lives in the blue counties.

Without the electoral college, these counties would decide every election.

I think most Bama fans find it funny at this point.

Let's just look at this logically. (sorry Freak)

Saban has been at Alabama since 2007 and won National Championships four times. And on track for #5 this year.

His recruiting classes are never going to be ranked below top 5, probably top 3. He calls a recruit regardless of where they are from and wants them to visit? He's going to get a visit and serious consideration.

Saban could get pretty much any assistant in the country to coach for him if he wants.

He is making $7 million a year in salary and could get a raise if he asked for one. His wife is successful in the real estate business. Money isn't a motivator here.

He has built a dynasty in Tuscaloosa that will reign as long as he is there.

Now why in the world would he want to go to Texas and start all over? To "prove" he can do it at three schools? At his age? Real talk here, Saban isn't on the table and has nothing to prove to anyone.

Are you saying it's factually inaccurate merely because of the source? Let me guess, only FoxNews is allowed in your world.

Nope. There's a reason there's an electoral college. Look at where HilLIARY's votes came from...

I think instead of winner-take-all the electoral college should be based on proportional representation where if you get at least 20% of the vote in a state you get an equivalent share of the electoral votes in that state.

Now compare your map to the crime rate map...

Don't you think if they started tossing cash at Saban like it is monopoly money that they would agree to give him all the control he wants? Not being an ass, just curious.

I know the egos of the kind of men who would throw these sums at a football coach must be enormous, but by offering to more than double Saban's salary (who is already the highest paid CFB coach mind you) aren't you essentially saying, "We will do whatever it takes?"

They would rather give big money than give control. Texas Boosters are to Texas as Jerry Jones was to the Cowboys in years past. Always willing to spend the most money, but only gets in the team's way because wants to control everything.

I think Maine and Nebraska already split up electoral votes across the state.

You're wrong on the bold, Saban takes the rejects that no other program can take because of their baggage. He can get away with it plus not a damn sole in Tuscaloosa is going to squeal on an AL coach's bad behavior.

Why would Saban leave AL? Competitive men need to be challenged, they think they can succeed anywhere and need to prove it. What does Saban have left to prove at AL?

Saban has only taken two "rejects" so far in Kiffin and Sarkisian. Otherwise, there likely isn't a coordinator on the planet that would turn him down if he came calling especially since they very well could pay top dollar.

Why would Saban leave AL? Competitive men need to be challenged, they think they can succeed anywhere and need to prove it. What does Saban have left to prove at AL?

And as for being challenged, his challenge is to continue winning. There's always going to be teams out there waiting to take Alabama out. This year it's Ohio State, Michigan, Washington and Clemson. Last year it was Clemson, Michigan State and Oklahoma. So on and so forth. His challenge is to continue to win against the top teams from other conferences and why take the chance on slipping down that food chain by starting over at a new school?

He isn't going anywhere. Texas has a pipe dream in the form of Nick Saban.
