Thank goodness for Fox News! Obama: America a Superpower 'Whether We Like It or Not'

You have to be on good terms with the Holders or the Oranges. I hate small town politics.........wait I hate politics in general.

My cousin used to date one of them Orange twins we graduated with.

We ain't got a chance T.

Danny is a huge prick who has taken to the bottle rather hard after getting rid of the dealership. Got his butt whipped by one of the tow truck drivers from Bowmans.

Lesson learned: Even though you might have been a golden gloves boxer when you were younger age always catches up to you and 58 year olds should never try to slap around a 20- something year old corn fed country boy.

Not sure which one it was but my next door neighbors wife is friends with his daughter and she told her about this.

I don't know which daughter it is but I think it's the one that was married to Brad (the guy that used to build houses) for about 3 months, her 4th marriage.

Regardless of the intentions in his post, albeit it most likely wasn't my interpretation, I don't like the fact of military and politics being interrelated. I know it's inevitable, but still, something I'm not fond for.

Quite simply, political leaders shouldn't be making military decisions and vice versa.

What? Our military is designed to be controlled by an elected commander in chief and his political appointees, regardless how unqualified or idiotic they might be.

That is the unfortunate reality.

To be fair, the military just doing whatever they want doesn't sound like a great idea.

Where on earth would the military get it's guidance/orders?

Are you proposing a "Bat Light" to call them to action?

Of course I don't want the military to roam around performing what ever they please - if it weren't for politicians in the Cuban Missile Crisis, we may not be here - Lemay. I don't like the idea of politicians planning military strategy either. I guess I'm envisioning more of an Eisenhower mix in the executive office.
