I think he made the right pick...I really do like her and admire her! I need to go find our Republican headquarters and get a sticker! :)

I think she is a good politician. She is well spoken, very smart and capable. I didn't know anything about her when she was picked but she can hold her own. I am still voting for Obama but I can appreciate her as a good candidate. I am anxious to see the VP debate.

I called our Republican headquarters here in Chattanooga last week and they said they would have them in this week. I have their number programmed into my contacts on my cell :birgits_giggle:

I too didn't really know Sarah Palin until he picked her. I do however think she was a great choice. She seems to really know her stuff, and what an awesome communicator! I talked to a woman the other day that doesn't vote. I told her it's ok, that women's suffrage was overrated anyways. :blink: It makes me sick when I meet women that don't vote.

Me too!!! I told me grandmother who said she didn't know if she was going to vote, then not to complain when something happens she does not like! I think she is an awesome woman...

It makes me sick when your own party did nothing but bash Hillary for being a woman and now seeing them do a complete 360 because of McCain's awful choice. :whistling:

They bashed Hillary for lots of reasons, I don't think being a woman is one of them... and until I see some test results, I'm not even buying into the fact she's a woman.

no one trashed her for being a woman. She was trashed for her ideals, and being a Clinton.

My problem with her had nothing to do with being a woman. I just don't want Bill anywhere near the White House again. Too much baggage with Hillary, she is the same ol same as far as partisan politics go and after Bush the last thing we need is partisan politics, the country needs to heal some.

For the record I am an Independent Conservative who supported Bush until he let all the partisan stuff get in the way of running the country.

In the end.... there is truly not that much difference between either party..........

In the end, either party is going to grow the budget and expand government!
