My problem with her had nothing to do with being a woman. I just don't want Bill anywhere near the White House again. Too much baggage with Hillary, she is the same ol same as far as partisan politics go and after Bush the last thing we need is partisan politics, the country needs to heal some.
For the record I am an Independent Conservative who supported Bush until he let all the partisan stuff get in the way of running the country.
KB,
I have no problem with Bush being a partisan. That's what the ruling party gets to do. There's really no other way around it. I respect Partisans in politics -- just like in Sports. Serious question: what "partisan" things did Bush do that that you actually disagreed with?
It makes me sick when your own party did nothing but bash Hillary for being a woman and now seeing them do a complete 360 because of McCain's awful choice. :whistling:
so she has done what Obama's been doing for two years now and she's doing it for the VP office, where it's probably palatable.Palin, delivered a well presented speech with little to no depth. So far she has repeated this speech at campaign stops and nothing else. I am tired of people being sucked in on personalities and not issues. Who knows if she is good for this country or not?
I would think that she would remain as much an enigma as possible. It worked like a charm for Obama for a very, very long time. No, Obama has repeated multiple speeches as where Palin is still repeating the convention speech. The problem I have is that Palin needs to be out there doing her own thing so we can get a better feel for her. With only two months left she needs to get cracking!!!
I think she is a good politician. She is well spoken, very smart and capable. I didn't know anything about her when she was picked but she can hold her own. I am still voting for Obama but I can appreciate her as a good candidate. I am anxious to see the VP debate.
Yes, that's what the ruling parties do. If you have a problem with it, then you should vote for another party. Honestly, that's why Ron Paul has such a rabid following. He's a real conservative.
