Lol you guys arguing about your GF's being hotter than the others is funny as hell. That is the biggest grouping of loser posts I have ever seen. Walt I think its funny that you pull teams from 12 -20 years ago as an argument. CBP is a good coach he may not be your kinda coach but he is good. The 3's and some of the things that I dont like also are part of the fun and gun offense that he runs. When it works its awesome when it doesnt ..... ouch.

I for one love what Pearl has done for UT basketball. Keep up the good work coach the majority of TN VOL fans appreciate you and what you have done for us!

Scotty is getting there. I've seen noticeable improvement over the past two years. He's definitely being more aggressive with the ball, but I just wish his overall attitude on the court will change. He needs to know that he has the ability to take over a game.

The fun and gun offense rarely ever makes it past the sweet sixteen, if it gets that far, with us or any other team. If you're happy with just being a little better than average, more power to you - I'm not.

If it's possible to be a "middle ground" in this ongoing debate about Bruce's coaching abilities...I will try. I'll refrain from commenting on who's girlfriend was hotter than whoever elses's in a Mickey-D's commercial.

CBP has put UT back on the map. He's an energetic and recognizable face, a seemingly-levelheaded guy, and a very good recruiter. TBA is filling up, with tremendous upgrades to our facilities and no black curtains to boot. We play hard, the pace is fun to watch and difficult for some teams to handle, and we have a style that works well WITH the personnel to run it.

At the same time, we still have real deficiencies in the half court. Our press isn't really working at all. And, time and time again, we are left scratching our heads at the end of a half or game with the play that was (or wasn't ?) drawn up. It's absurd to think that your center dribbling the ball down court and jacking a contested three from way behind the arc is the best you can get.
