He was confused how I knew that was exactly what his results showed.......

This is the most idiotic reason I’ve heard. It’s funny how smart you think you are.

If someone is offended by it, odds are they weren’t fans. If it were a “business decision” as you say. It’s a terrible one because it would be more likely to have an adverse effect on their actual fans.

Why try and capture the 5% that you weren’t going to get anyway, and potentially piss off the 95%?

Similar example would be target tried to please Transgender nation. It was reported that their stock dropped 30% after their pro trans statements regarding bathrooms, that’s roughly 15 billion lost for investors. Was it worth it for them to try and please the 1%?

I'd go further and say the offended 5% aren't even sports fans. They're most likely the Celine Dion "let them touch those things for once" types.

Pretty much anything that takes away from personal responsibility.

I will say that the real idiots and racists on all spectrums probably only account for a small percent of overall racist screamers. We are just inundated with the voices of a few.

The false narrative of hate towards minorities and sexuality is beyond tiresome as we don't see daily or weekly, or even monthly occurrences of these perpetuated myth hate actions. Don't see minorities being gathered and beaten or killed, don't see sexually whatever term you want to throw whether gay trans whatever being physically assaulted just because of their sexuality. We see very little to no actual crimes, because if they were occurring it would be all we would see and hear about.

I think the vast majority of us try and take an individual as they are and make our own judgements, we aren't out "hating", we might disagree or have our own prejudices, but, we are not that which we keep being told our country is. Most of us are just trying to live our lives and be left alone to live it without people we don't know passing judgement telling us who they think we are.

The only thing I would say differently is that the leftists say diversity is essential, but other than that... You hit 'em squarely in the face with that.
