so why do you think our best NBA players aren't fighting to play in the Olympics? Ape's point is right, there isn't much glory to win in beating the world in basketball. Its a freaking scandal when we don't win it all because we are that much better than the rest of the world. College teams would be competitive in the Olympics. Usually US Olympic Basketball games turn into Globetrotter-esque situations. If a foreign team is good, or lucky, they will have 2 NBA players and they still usually can't compete.
