That's racist!

Let’s rally behind the important things. She’s as brainwashed as many on here.

Halsey: Shampoo in hotels ignores black people - BBC News

This chick is dumb. "She can afford to travel with her own toiletries"?? What the F? Thats a thing? Like..am I the only non superstar person who takes their own stuff with them?

Or is it a case of people being too cheap to check luggage and thus not being able to bring their toiletry sack with them? $25..thats what separates the rich from the not rich.

Careful with the in room coffee makers. I've heard, not witnessed, of some women stuffing their pantyhose in them and running hot water through to clean them. NEVER use the in room coffee maker.
:zeitung_lesen: Mmm, mmm good!

I don’t care what color you are, fat people on airplanes are the worst. Buy another ticket or start charging by the pound.
Everything that goes on an airplane does so by weight. passengers should pay a base rate and have "extra" weight added on to the fare. but that would be insensitive

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

Apropos for you to say such. Flight attendants are the ones washing their drawers in the coffee pot.

I was listening to a radio show several years ago. Did a segment on what people think they know about your occupation compared to the truth. Flight attendant called in ans said job isnt glamorous like people think. When pressed for specifics she spilled beans about coffee maker laundry.

Oh I know. I have heard all that. I don't know or care what FAs do when they go in their rooms. I think that is mostly urban legend though. But many of the hotels are putting in single serve coffee makers anyway.

I just got back from four days on the road. 2 hotel nights, and one sleeping on the airplane enroute. Glamorous, it is not. It's fun, but not what I would call glamorous.

At least you’re doing all the FA’s......

I mean, that’s what I’ve heard....

Never play in your own sandbox. The guys that don't learn that usually have multiple divorces. When I got hired, they told us that FAs all talk to each other, and their stories travel at 600 mph. (Now they travel at the speed of light and they are all on FB). Pizz one off, and you are persona non grata for many.

Actually a funny story. I used to carry a brown paint chip around as a joke to tell them how much cream to put in my coffee. One time, one of them said "You're the guy! Somebody on FB says you are an azzhole". I go out of my way to be nice to the FAs becaus when we are in flight, we only have each other if something goes wrong. It wasn't me. Apparently someone else had a paint chip too... but it was my original idea.

I hate FB. It has no upside.

Oh, and pictures or you can't prove a thing.

Imagine having one of those blobs on your row when SHTF. I would seriously consider knocking them out if it meant saving my own life or my family. Or dumping a bunch of honey buns in the floor to distract them.

I hate to say it but I agree with you. I usually just take a carry on (for convenience) then but what I need when I arrive.

If you're looking for reasons to be offended, you're going to find them.

Student Wears Traditional Chinese Dress to Prom, Sparks Cultural Appropriation Debate

A high school student was accused of cultural appropriation after posting photos of her prom dress on social media.

Keziah, 18, posted photos of herself wearing a traditional Chinese cheongsam, or qipao, to her prom, and inadvertently sparked a heated conversation over the concept of cultural appropriation. The girl, who is white and whose last name has not been identified, defended her decision to wear the dress, insisting she was not being racist or appropriating Chinese culture.

The replies are hilarious.

To me, it's classy and she wears it well.

Can’t wait until I see a Chinese person wearing jeans. Gonna call that mofo out! Lol

Somebody researched that guys timeline and he had written stuff like “ all I want is ****ing cheeseburger. I mean dayum can a n-word get a burger.” He has multiple posts where he drops the n word. Yet he accuses others of cultural appropriation. How about twitter? Who created that? White people? Can’t use that . Only white people should. The only thing worse than a social justice warrior is a fake social justice warrior.

This is a grown ass man, finding a HIGH SCHOOL GIRL on Twitter and blowing her up about a prom dress and being offended. One of the most pathetic things I have ever seen.

Maybe it's just me, but she looks Hispanic...

A Hispanic girl culturally appropriating Asian dress? Is this what we would call a conundrum for the Social Justice types?

I guess we should all be ashamed when we order Chinese takeout...if you're not Chinese, of couerse.

I don’t understand the cultural appropriation thing.

In that dress article they said it has to do with dominant cultures taking things from marginalized ones. Hello, how can an American take from the Chinese and the American be considered dominant? China’s culture goes back thousands of years, they are a massive country that bends to no one. One out of seven people on this planet live in China. They are not a minority or a disenfranchised group. Their depth of culture far outclasses America and caucasians in general.

The push for diversity and inclusion just seems bent on driving us further apart on racial and cultural lines. These are my toys and you can’t play with them. And the fake outrage over perceived slights is only getting worse.
