First off loans for housing or loans in general..Its all about your credit score. Blacks and hispanics generally have worse scores or no credit history. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
Jobs? In a world of affirmative action and "diversity is our strength" why would minorities not be getting "jobs"? You dont have to mark your race on application forms albeit first names probably blow your cover. Minorities (except Asians..weird!!) have the highest rates of high school drop outs and lowest levels of academic achievement. Why do you think those people would be able to compete with overachievers?
Equal pay? Equal pay for equal work is a myth.
Equal opportunity? Thats a funny one. Everyone has the same chance in this country and the government actually tries to make some people have MORE equal opportunity...and yet its apparently squandered because we can see people still griping about things not being equal enough which is code for "just give me everything you have".

Seriously if you are a minority for any sort of office job you go to the front of the line regardless of abilities or work history. If you can get into a diversity program at a company you will be a manager in 3 years with no effort. We have departments at my company where you have to get VP approval to hire a white person, even if no minority or women applicants apply. That’s why “diversity is our strength” makes my eyes roll involuntarily.

In government contracts you have to choose women or minority owned businesses over everyone else even if the product or service you get is substandard. Apparently that isnt enough...

had all those happen to me specifically because I am a white person except for the loan. only applied for one loan so I wouldn't say its a representative study at this point.

This is an honest question... Can you support the claim that minorities are denied loans, housing, jobs, equal pay and opportunity because of their race? You're on attack pretty heavily here based on an unsupported assertion.

This is true. I received a bill last month for $1.50 for a card I haven't used in years. Paid it and then closed it.

I drive through Limestone Cove often on my way from my house in E. Tenn and vacation house in the N.C. mountains. I'm in N.C. at the moment, and it's a bit chilly at night. By the way, how does cotton grow in Limestone Cove with the terrain and shade? By the way, Limestone Cove is near the old stompin' grounds of Grand Vol.
