That's racist!

Ivy League offers 'free' ski trip...but not for whites

While the events are not advertised anywhere on the university’s website, the event organizer, Dartmouth Assistant Director for Leadership and Experiential Education Tracie Williams, confirmed to Campus Reform that POC Ski Days are “university sponsored” events, and are, specifically, functions of the Outdoor Programs Office’s People of Color Outside Group, a student group called “Black Girls are Magic,” the school’s athletics department, and the Dartmouth Skiway.

Williams also confirmed that the free skiing would only be offered to students who are “self-identified” students of color, but clarified that the event itself is open to all “as it is held in a public space.” The organizer also expressed surprise that Campus Reform “got ahold [sic] of this event information,” calling it “interesting” and asking how Campus Reform obtained knowledge of the event.

The discrimination is for safety. White people are easier to lose in the snow.

I despise racism. I find it abhorrently evil. But I find it strange that groups that supposedly support "equality" push concepts such as "white guilt" and "white privilege". I've never owned anyone as property. Never looked down on someone because of the color of their skin. I've never considered myself better for being white, yet also never considered myself worse. I try to treat everyone equally. So why should I feel guilt over being a white man in America?

And what privilege does the color of my skin supposedly give me? I've never felt "privileged" as I've worked my way through life. Things were not handed to me. I've never had doors opened for me by people saying, "Oh, you're white, c'mon in."

So why should all white people be looked upon as "bad"? That seems to be the message that some minorities push, yet no one calls them out for obvious bigotry. And isn't that what it is? Bigotry? To hate all white people because of the actions of some? I've told this story before, but my cousin was killed in an armed robbery by 3 black youths. Would it be appropriate for me to consider all black people murderers because of the actions of those three? Of course not.

People should be judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. So many people who claim MLK as a hero forget what was at the core of his message. Equality is about looking beyond race. It's about going beyond a world of black vs white. It's about seeing individuals and not grouping people together by skin color.

It really is a sad world we live in. So much hate. And for what? What has it accomplished but to divide people further and further apart. But then again, maybe that's the point.
It's not entirely the point but it is the result.

Trump’s Plan to Decriminalize Homosexuality Is an Old Racist Tactic

The Trump administration is set to launch a global campaign to decriminalize homosexuality in dozens of nations where anti-gay laws are still on the books, NBC News reported Monday. While on its surface, the move looks like an atypically benevolent decision by the Trump administration, the details of the campaign belie a different story. Rather than actually being about helping queer people around the world, the campaign looks more like another instance of the right using queer people as a pawn to amass power and enact its own agenda.
