That's racist!

These kind of things are really going to mess up @luthervol 's continuum.

No No , he will be along shortly and explain how this fits into what he has always said .. Trump and the ring wing propaganda networks caused this .
I must say between the blackface , alleged sexual misconduct , black face , lynching hoax and this ... it’s been a very interesting black history month for the Dems .

The knitting community is reckoning with racism

Full on insanity.

My favorite part:

"The most common image of knitting is still probably an old white lady sitting in a rocking chair making a blanket (a stereotype that tends to grind modern knitters’ gears, with reason). But even though the stereotypical image has gotten younger over the years, the community is still perceived as very white. Part of that is a problem of access: Mahon points to the expense, especially if you’re buying high-quality or indie-made yarns (hand-dyed or luxurious yarn can be around $30 a skein, and depending on yardage, you’d need at least three to four skeins to make a sweater). “And it just keeps getting more and more expensive and elitist, until only other white women can keep up,” she said."

Maryland Democrat Loses Leadership Position Over Racial Slur

So she loses her subcommittee head chair role and agrees to sensitivity training.

But will she resign?

lol.........The continuum is still alive and well. There are some idiot democrats on the upper end, which I admitted from the beginning. There are also some republicans on the lower end, which I admitted from the beginning.
It's just that 85% of the upper 50% is made up from the right and 85% of the lower 50% is made up from the left.
Plus, she was rightfully immediately removed from her position. There's a lesson there for the repubs.

Trump’s Plan to Decriminalize Homosexuality Is an Old Racist Tactic

The Trump administration is set to launch a global campaign to decriminalize homosexuality in dozens of nations where anti-gay laws are still on the books, NBC News reported Monday. While on its surface, the move looks like an atypically benevolent decision by the Trump administration, the details of the campaign belie a different story. Rather than actually being about helping queer people around the world, the campaign looks more like another instance of the right using queer people as a pawn to amass power and enact its own agenda.

Actually it was a pretty major component.
I'll break it down for you. Out of a normal distribution of 100 people, 43 of the highest 50 spots on the racist continuum would be held by repubs. while 7 would be dems. The reverse would be true for the lowest 50 spots.

There is no absurd a** continuum. If you judge a person based solely on their race (skin color) you are a racist. There’s no upper or lower level forms of racism.

Not much of a perspective in Flatland. Did any of you ever read that book?

I'm guessing he's referring to the complete lack of data used to establish your continuum?

I key part of using statistics is having data upon which to perform the statistical analysis.
