That's racist!

rarely do successful people claim racism

As a successful Black person with successful Black family member and friends I know first hand you are just making up stuff. You don't just "claim" racism. Racist things happen and you point them out and some dummies like the people here try to deny facts or your personal experience.

Uncle Toms

No one calls successful Black people Uncle Tom's. There are some self hating Black people and Black people who bash other Black people to White people to show how not "Black" or not "regular Black" they are. They get called names by some. I just think they are sad personally.

I know plenty of educated and successful Black people. No one calls anyone an Uncle Tom unless it is someone going out of their way to distance themselves from the Black community and or who looks down on other Black people and minorities.

Neither one of you have any idea of what you are talking about or how Black people talk about or view other Black people.

I work with highly educated individuals from all races. Not once have I ever heard anything indicate that race was barrier to their success.

Well, this is certainly subjective.

Apparently he hasn't read D4H...there are NUMEROUS threads in this very forum where D4H, who is black, calls many many other black folks uncle toms or worse simply for being successful and assimilating into society at large. Or, basically for not being a bigoted racist like himself.

Nice for ktown to categorically deny that D4H or his opinions exist though, while everyone here had evidence that he is FOS. Nice.

I've seen plenty of instances where racism was claimed, but race played no part in the matter. So that statement is complete BS.

Saying racism never stopped you from being successful and saying racism doesn't exist completely are two very different things.

You can be successful and still see or feel the impact of racism.

Most successful Black people still acknowledge that racism exists.

Like I said no one calls people Uncle Toms just for being successful. I don't use the term myself but I know the type he has called names.

They are the self hating Black people who go out of their way to bash other Black people to ingratiate themselves with conservative Whites. You can be successful and a part of mainstream America without spouting biased and false things about your own race. Some think their road to being accepted in White America is to denigrate minorities. Some are just brainwashed by the media and community they were around growing up.

No one calls successful Black people Uncle Toms. Just the self hating ones. The types who claim racism doesn't exist and let their White "friends" say racist jokes and call people racial slurs in front of them. Sometimes they say things even worse than their White friends in an attempt to be seen as part of the group and not rock the boat. That is the type people call Uncle Toms. Not just successful people.

I know hundreds of successful Black people in Knoxville, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville. Not one of them would be called an Uncle Tom by Black people. I know successful Black people that would be called Uncle Toms by some who talk like that for very specific reason concerning their attitudes and actions.

I do use the term sell-out though.

99% of the time if someone claims something is racist or it offended them it did or was. Some of you just like to act like anytime someone points out things that are racist they are making things up or exaggerating. That is just pure bs.

They're the same person.

They do have similar writing styles.

What do you mean, "they"?

Ya'll are even bigger idiots than I knew already if you really think we are the same guy. We don't post alike or hold the same opinions. Looking at the post in the PF you would think there are only two conservatives with 20 accounts since yall all spout the same misinformed, ignorant, inane thoughts.

That's just yall's racism at work though. There couldn't possibly be two Black posters on here I guess.:thud:

Racism in S. Africa
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-39558207
Thousands of people took to the streets after he sacked the finance minister.
The latest protests were organised by the opposition Democratic Alliance which some see as white dominated.
"The marches that took place last week demonstrated that racism is real and exists in our country," he said.

link to video of the protests. look at all those white people. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-39532310

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-39526321 there are actually some white people in the second video. Racism confirmed.

Funny there's another black poster that spends a lot of time here that somehow manages to get through his day without invoking racism at every turn.

Interesting, isn't it?

so self deprecatization is not allowed? its pretty common in most cultures to have groups that hate on other groups inside the same race. Rednecks and yankees for example. Nothing wrong with them thinking badly about their "own" kind; why the need for the term Uncle Tom? is it somehow different?

the problem most of us have is every time you hear about a white person getting something over a black person the default is "racism" and there is no real conversation beyond that or else you become racist for suggesting it might be anything but racism. and most of us honestly don't think any different of someone because of their skin color so to say it is racist doesn't even compute because for most of us it isn't in the equation. yeah sure it exists but it is THE most overplayed card there is. Boy who cried wolf for every perceived injustice.

try the exercise of dropping race when examining a situation.

Black guy shot by white cop after assaulting the cop. =cop is Racist

vs

Guy shot by cop after assaulting the cop. = person being dumb.

and half the time when the "r" word gets thrown out there the facts aren't even known and racism is claimed incorrectly. going back to the above.

black man shot by white cop sounds pretty bad. but then we find out the black guy had assaulted the cop and it becomes less black and white (forgive the turn-of-phrase). but the charge of racism has already been leveled and that cat is out of the bag and nothing can be done.

also one side ignores the so called reverse racism.

-a qualified individual gets passed over to hire a less qualified individual. bad business practice.

-a qualified black person gets passed over to hire a less qualified white person. probably racist.

-a qualified white person gets passed over to hire a less qualified black person. in no way shape or form is this ever considered racist by those searching it out. yet it is the same situation.

under the term racist is used none racially it loses its "umph"

Its almost like Black people all have different personalities and thoughts or something. I know that's shocking right?

Too bad your fantasy situations rarely happen.

No one is protesting when cops shoot a guy that is assaulting him. The problem is unarmed and non-threatening Black people are getting shot. Then people like you try to justify it by them smoking weed or having a theft charge five years ago.

The job thing never happens. In fact studies show that better educate and or candidates with clean records get less job opportunities than Whites with less qualifications and felonies. White women have been the biggest beneficiaries of Affirmative action. So even in AA hires they still usually hire a White person.

The difference is most acknowledge these truths and want to work to change or at least support those who do. They you have the types like we have here who ignore anything that doesn't fit their confirmation bias and preconceived stereotypes or opinions.

Except that your two accounts post exactly the same things here. Your personality is only different on the FF.

You are literally only basing your crackpot theory on our race. That is what makes it racist. No unbiased person would think we post the same.

Its a real stretch to think that two Black men under 40 would both be liberals who believe racism exists.

I guess you and 72 are the same poster despite him being older and less insane than you. You are both White conservatives who deny racism most times. Yep, must be the same guy.
