That's racist!

Are you having a problem understanding the difference between a human, a fictitious leprechaun and animals too? Apparently so.

I’m having a problem with people being offended at every thing they see and dropping some “ ism “ because their mommy’s and daddy’s didn’t teach them that it’s ok to be offended. This PC crap is soft manipulation , designed specifically to appeal to soft voters looking to virtue signal .

Damnit .. you are going to force them to take the leprechaun off my lucky charms with your social justice pc crap aren’t you ? I hope Tigers, Captains , Toucans , Frogs and Bees don’t suddenly become woke. The whole dang store is eventually going to look like this ...

Cap'n Crunch is next. 18th century Naval captain probably involved in the trans atlantic slave trade. Then the elves Rice Krispies, the gnomes from Keebler..

Corona Virus is working on a lot of em now.

Who does the LoL lady represent? Have actual native Americans filed complaints?

First, if you ask the "Native Americans" their preference, they will tell you it is American Indian. Two, racism isn't determined by complaint numbers ala the South and African-Americans in the mid-50s on. Tre, it is the image of Pocahontas and she is dead. lol (not LoL)

"Kevin Allis, the chief executive of the National Congress of American Indians, a public education and advocacy group, said the organization saw it as a “positive sign,” adding, “We encourage all companies that peddle products displaying stereotypical Native ‘themed’ imagery to follow suit.”

“Americans need to learn the truth about the beauty and diversity of tribal nations, peoples and cultures today,” he said, “and discarding antiquated symbols like this are a step in the right direction.”

We are going to see more and more companies who have woken up to this idea unless they are purposefully attempting to attract racists. If the latter, as racism continues to recede, I hope the ever loving Hell they do too.

LoL was land of lakes, not "lol".

So to answer my question, no one was specifically complaining about it.

Sounds like this was virtue signaling from the company telling the native americans they should be offended, and this is how they are going to mansplain the fix.

You know, instead of working with one of the local tribes to depict one correctly. Seems like that would be a much better response all around.

But then that wouldnt let you get offended for them.

Wrong, if you ask “Native Americans” their preference it would be cheap whiskey.

Deny ignorance.

“Native American” makes even less sense when you consider the name has its roots in the Italian cartographer’s name Amerigo Vespucci. So “America” couldn’t have been what the indigenous tribes were calling this land in 1492. Unless their wondrous natural talents also included prophecy.

I'm not doing your google homework for you anymore. Complaints are here. The other issue is that we are hypocrites for having murdered Indians by the tribe-load and yet now seem to liked them enough to advertise them on butter?

Regardless, the non-racists voted hard enough with their pockets and the racist image is gone.

Game, set, match.

Why do we care what the tribes did honestly? They were inferior cultures that practiced slavery, incest, human sacrifice etc.
