Let me share my
Pulaski Tn Klu Klux Klan experience from a Vol grad, several of my fraternity brothers, all Middle Tennessee racist. And damn proud of it.
"D, you need to come to The Homeland." So I did.
We're having a jolly old time, smoking Mid Tenn illegal home grown. Then things got quiet.
"D, it's time for you to learn what the Great America is. Get your ass on that horse and ride with our wind!"
We're all 3 'sheets' (entendre purposeful) to the wind but up we gallop in the night. We meet a hooded [assclown] KKK leader who asks who I am.
"He be good, one of our kind".
Since the KK was hurting for members, and arms., no question further asked.
Light the cross, whoop about killing {insert race of choice], smoke more weed by the pounds, booze by the barrels.
This is when I realized that these MFs were damn serios and damnable stupid.
I noticed that no one on VN would admit to their present participation in the KKK. In your defense, I understand your reluctance. If you so admitted on a public forum, your ass is "grass" and I don't mean weed.
What has happened is that modern KKK-styled racism has followed the path of secrecy, non-admittance, emotions and hate buried within the psyche and only discussed, within secret or privilege quarters.
It's only hides within the shadows like within this thread.
It's a sad day. One that non-racists will survive. As they rest hide within the shadows of denial, refusal to admit and believe that no one sees through the veneer of their abhorrent actions.
