You hit on something I've thought for a long time.

When I think of someone who is a racist, I think of somebody who believes that there is an inherent characteristic, a physical quality, or something else that makes their race superior to others. For example, a belief that there is some inherent quality(ies) that makes white people superior and worth more as a human being than someone of a different race. That is how things like slavery, Jim Crow, and the Holocaust were justified - black people were three-fifths of a human being, Jews are apes/sub-human, etc. By this definition, IMO, there are very, very few outright racists in society today.

What still exists, however, is prejudice. Racist people are certainly prejudiced, but not all prejudiced people are racist.

A Florida high school student with a sick sense of humor may be facing expulsion for posting photos of his Black classmates on Craigslist as “Slaves For Sale.”

The unnamed Fleming Island High School senior took a photo of two of his African-American classmates and created an ad saying, “Two healthy negro slave gals for sale. Good condition hard work ethic. If you need another pair of hands in the farm or house you are in luck.”

The asking price was $470.

470 is a bargain imo.

So tums, joe, and carl know when humor crosses the line and the person is a dumbass. Beautiful. I've seen "humor" from the 3 of you that I would put in the same category. It's hysterical that when someone questions your "humor" they're a snowflake that needs to grow a pair. I think this student from FL would say to you "quit being a snowflake you little wuss and grow a pair". Perspective is an amazing thing. What you say about that student, many say about you....ponder on that.

Doesn't bother me at all..... I have a different sense of humor than most and I know that..... but anyone that thinks putting pics of black folks on Craigslist as slaves for sell is a different kind of stupid or just a blatant racist.

I along with others think you're a socialist poon..... does that bother you?...... I didn't think so

I get tired of the inability to read for content on this site. I said "over the line" which is completely subjective. As usual, you guys miss the point. If someone takes offense to a poster's humor on here, they are overly sensitive and some type of wuss. What some people find humorous, others find offensive. If a person finds another's humor offensive, that doesn't make them a politically correct libtard, it only means they draw the line at a different place. I've found much of the humor on this site tasteless and over the line.

As just one example: every post alluding to Michelle Obama's looks. Some think it's appropriate and funny, others don't. Some thought this boy's racist humor was appropriate and funny, others don't.
