I’m sure it has for you . First you assume there is a discrepancy of wealth , based on the color of ones skin ( without examples of that assumption ) and just called it reality . The actual reality of living in the United States is everyone has the opportunity to make money and be successful regardless of skin color or nationality. The laws in this country prevent an employers from playing favorites based on race , age , sex or religion . In order to have wealth , it must first be created , at some point we are going to have to stop blaming everyone else and start looking in the mirror . You may want to say my great great great grandfather didn’t have wealth , therefore nothing was passed down to me . I would say my great great great grandfather was beyond dirt poor but look at the things I have today . Life is 80% what you make of it and 20% how you look at it .

Ahhh now we are getting to the source of the issue . This is our biggest problem , instead of feeling sorry for people , we should be teaching them that they are only limited by their own actions . Teach them how to be self reliant, self responsible , how to set goals ( short , medium and long term ) teach them self worth so they can stop being so dependent on a system that so many claim is terrible and racist . There need to be less empathy , blame , hate , victimhood and more teachings on how to seek out and capitalize on opportunity.
