That's racist!

I had an African black guy in a couple of my chemistry classes at TSU that ended up being my lab partner a time or two. Imagine Eddie Murphy in Coming To America carrying an additional 30 pounds and that’s him. He used to talk about American black folks and how he could not understand why they acted the way they did.... but the words he’d use made him hilarious to listen to.

This guy's great or great-great grandparents came to Jamaica from China as indentured servants. He was born and raised there until his 20s. First couple years we were doing business I only talked to him on the phone so I was shocked when we finally met.

I goin see my bruddah in wuhahn mon.

We had a great time in Africa a couple of years ago. It was the first time I can ever remember talking to black people as equals and asking about life and culture, etc without feeling defensive - like you have to tiptoe through a conversation like picking your way through a minefield of thoughts, words, and definitions.

I worked with couple guys from Kenya, we had to go to ATL for some training in midtown. We got in at night and met up the next morning, I asked one of them how dinner was. He said it was good, but he got nervous on the way back to the hotel because some "black people" were hassling him for money. I just lold.

Found this on Yahoo earlier.

Dear White People: Please Stop Disguising Your White Guilt as an Apology (yahoo.com)

Articles like this are why people are even afraid to have conversations. Anything and everything you say is easily twisted into something it was never meant to be. It makes you afraid to say anything at all.
I might sign up for that white adjacent thing. The price is $0-60, figure I pay about tree fiddy and listen to what that majik practicing community lawyer has to say.

Is the heavy cream I put in my coffee racist?

Your heavy cream is so wrong on so many levels. First it's white, second it makes your coffee less black, third it's fattening, fourth it gives you sinful pleasure while people are suffering .... Your only hope is to go with a diversity plea. I just don't think you can even buy your way out of that sin in these enlightened days.

You present the exact opposite "life model" she does. Blacks are far more open than are whites, assuming you are white you are accepted into their life

Sorry man, that’s subjective and I don’t think that’s true nor fair at all. There are a lot of accepting people across the board. Problem is we have let media, society, preconceived notions like this divide us.

You even forgot THE SCIENCE which is that it's mainly only white people that have lactose tolerance!
