That's racist!

I want to know why you think this country owes black people. Find me someone alive today that faced slavery, and I'll agree that person is owed something. Maybe even people who lived through Jim Crow deserve something. But as far as being owed something, other than equality, they aren't owed anything. And everyone is owed equality, regardless of skin color.

Their equality means something completely different.

Sad takeaways. You have no idea what my race is.
The proper analogy would have been: all injuries do not heal on their own.
Especially when the victim keeps picking at the wound. Kinda hard to heal when you wont let yourself. When it's the one thing you let define yourself, of course it stays an issue.

Doesnt matter what society does, as long as the AA community only defines itself as a victim.

Where is secondary education not free? How much money is thrown at that with less than stellar returns? The claim we've done nothing is completely ludicrous. The issue is you want the govt to do it when they've shown to be a failure. You can't buy equality and outcomes will never and should never be equal. That's the part that has become so hard to accept for the left. I'm not sure why since it's such a basic concept

The white vote will never be irrelevant as long as they hold most of the money. However there will come a day when the turnip is empty and that's when it gets ugly.

I meant free for African-Americans as a plan. I’d consider it an investment as a country and an inexpensive one at that.

We have just begun to take this issue seriously as a country. I don’t think much money will be wasted in the progress. Money cannot be the primary concern in regards to this topic anyway. I agree with it should never be law to be equal but I believe when all races are generally above water, the country will be better for it.

Can you give me examples of legislation that was specifically tailored for helping black people achieve more than equality in this country. Specifically 1970 until now? Can you also answer my question now that you got in that remark?

Well, the majority of white people voted for Trump and he raised the most money. IMO, it’s only downhill from here unless the right decides to drastically become more inclusive.

👏👏👏 for doing this all day btw. Real MVPs
I’ll be back to try and respond to all in a bit

How do you suggest we solve the multiple problems between races in this country?
Honest conversation. About the problem, about the proposed solutions, and the side effects. Both sides have to be open, not just one of them.

You dont fix racial issues creating a new one.

Wow a lot of anger at this subject. You hurt your own argument with your hate. The thought process behind the bolded part is white privilege. (You all will call me out on the phrase, but please point out where I am wrong.) Regardless, your energy will get us nowhere in this convo or otherwise.

Their mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.

Where’s the problem?
LOL How sweet that you really believe that.

I appreciate the questions and your usual maturity. We can go in depth if you respond. Forgive my short answers. A lot of responses and little time.

#1 - To feel equal. Some would like to be compensated for being put in their lot in life. I cannot imagine never knowing your true last name or history.
#2 - The answer is obvious. Oppression comes in many forms. I’ll give you examples if you like. If you ask, please first answer: do you agree that money makes the rules?
#3 - Progress is the indicator.
Define progress.

I’ll just suggest you get outside of your community and notice the toned down tension in the country.
I work where the majority is black...... any tension was media driven and had absolutely nothing to do with trump...... what else is biden doing for the black community?

I didn’t say me. Minorities, especially black people, feel more safe today than they did at any point with the last administration.
What’s changed? We traded one dumba$$ for another. The only thing that’s really changed is that the right, left, and media seem he// bent on dividing the races .
