I don’t like dumb f***s that go around burning down businesses and looting them in the name of “equality”. Those losers just wanted free sh**, and ruined many lives and killed people as well. Then you’ve got people surrounding little kids in public, or the elderly out eating at restaurants and trying to bully/intimidate/harass them. Blm is a fu***** joke. Not to mention their mission statement was pretty focused on destroying the nuclear family, transgender crap, garbage like that which I also don’t support. I don’t buy into the lies that blacks are being targeted and killed in huge numbers by police, the facts don’t back that up. So no, f*** blm.
They're mission was quickly scrubbed from their website. And their lack of helping the black communities that have asked for help with the millions they raised is well documented.Wow a lot of anger at this subject. You hurt your own argument with your hate. The thought process behind the bolded part is white privilege. (You all will call me out on the phrase, but please point out where I am wrong.) Regardless, your energy will get us nowhere in this convo or otherwise.
Their mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.
Where’s the problem?

I've watched the political game played for decades. At one point I was naive enough to believe they cared about the people much like you. I grew to know better, I hope you get to that point sooner rather than later. They care only s much as it gets and keeps them in power.I disagree. Sounds like you got accustomed to the egomaniac of the past 4 years.
Are you willing to unpack the following:
1. what are the underprivileged asking for?
2. who is directly profiting today off an advantage from oppression?
3. at what point is equality completely achieved; in other words, how do you know the battle is finally won?
The problem is people like you telling people that make bad life choices that they did so because of whitey. Gtfo with the white privilege and systematic racism bs.
We are not more together as a country. The side that you're on just feels better right now because your guy won. The fact is nothing has changed, this country is deeply divided and the ones stoking the division are the people in power. As long as sheep like you and those on the right buy in and walk through life with red or blue colored glasses the longer this goes on and the deeper the divide gets.
We can have a discussion about systemic racism but even that is diluted and morphed into something much more difficult to fight. The real issue facing Americans of all colors is wealth disparity and how we achieve more balance. That isn't to say we take from one group and give to another, that accomplishes nothing. We have to correct and fight the self imposed and systemic reasons for that disparity. Then the country can achieve the next level of healing.
Lots of Africans in Africa don't either. Not sure you know history over there..writing, records, etc, wasn't really a thing until "recently" in human history for Sub Saharan Africa.I appreciate the questions and your usual maturity. We can go in depth if you respond. Forgive my short answers. A lot of responses and little time.
#1 - To feel equal. Some would like to be compensated for being put in their lot in life. I cannot imagine never knowing your true last name or history.
#2 - The answer is obvious. Oppression comes in many forms. I’ll give you examples if you like. If you ask, please first answer: do you agree that money makes the rules?
#3 - Progress is the indicator.
In the majority of the black community it is the be all end all...hence their culture of violence and crime.Wealth disparity is only an 'issue' if your god is money. Measures of 'poverty' in this country are subjective at best and political weapons at worst. It's best to visit most any other country in the world to get perspective.
This nation is every bit as divided as it ever was and isn't getting better. Biden winning didn't magically heal the divide, your side just feels better about it because they won.Can you explain the bolded? I’ve given several reasons to the contrary.
The mod here gets on me about “free money.” I see that angle and understand the need to get creative. However, it is hard to ignore that we live in a capitalist country. What specifically would you suggest we do?
So you're saying people of color just feel better. That's fine but nothing has changed, just the irrational fear is gone.
Please name one policy Biden has advanced that has had any meaningful impact on AA's and support it with statistics. I'll save you the time, you can't. This is all about feels, there is no substance.
