That's racist!

At one time, it was. There is a term for words which are brought into the lexicon to describe others because the new word is thought to be less demeaning than the previous word. Over time, the new word carries a negative connotation. Then another new word has to be created.

I wish I could remember what this is called.

Perhaps, colored people is a variation of people of color and is becoming en vogue again. I don' t know. I don't believe there is anything inherently demeaning in the phrase but tone and body language convey a lot of our communication. So it could be a neutral phrase but used in a demeaning way.
This is what made me wonder because you hear the term “people of color” used without repercussion.

Sup 79.

Do you guys ever listen to Jordan Peterson? He has hundreds of hours of content on youtube. Completely dismantles lefties, socialism, climate BS, you name it. Has some of the most respected and educated folks on Earth in each field come and debate or discuss things with him. He has a PHD in clinical psychology and has over 7 million subscribers on youtube

He is the voice for conservatives, men/boys, families and freedom, just about everything that is good, honest, and proper. My favorite to listen to by a wide margin

This one is relevant. There are shorter videos too.

I actually don't venture too far down political podcast/youtube rabbit holes. I've listened to Peterson when he spoke about eating meat only, but thats about it.

I have found that the more I ignore the media and the news (outside of local, weather, globally impacting events) the more the world looks less like the cesspool they try to make it out to be and I am less angry at the human race.
