Checked that out several years back. While there are surely small pockets of intelligent folks well grounded in reality....the popular "mainstream" reddit babble seemed to have an average age of about 13yo, which of course had spelling and grammar at roughly 2nd grade proficiency. Also seemed to skew about 80% socialist incels. It was ugly.

Pro "Racist IT" tip. Tired of seeing those stupid notifications on your Windows 11 lock screen like "Celebrate black history month", or "Tomorrow is Women's History Month!", or any history month?

Go to your search bar on the bottom of the desktop, type lock screen settings and you'll most likely see that your "lock screen status" is set to "calendar". Now if you have things on the calendar it will show them, but if you dont, like me, you'll get the left wing nonsense showing up alerting you to all the usual suspects when it comes to "months of celebration"..

Change it from Calendar to Weather and you'll actually get useful notifications, about your weather, when you are logging in.

What he didn't realize is that roughly 0.7% of his voters had any idea what antipathy meant...it might as well have been the name of a Death Metal group.

If you doubt that for a nanosecond...go check out the aforementioned Reddit which is at least 80% Dimwits. The vast, overwhelming majority of them cannot even distinguish between homophones such as to/too/two and your/you're/yore. Hell they don't even know the word "yore" exists. Both of my kids had a better grasp of spelling and grammar than the average "progressive" poster when they were in 2nd grade. That is not an exaggeration, in any way. It is quite embarrassing how ignorant they make us Americans appear online versus our European peers. Night and day difference.

This was not the case when I was a kid...furthermore every person my grandparents age I have ever spent much time around had beaufitul prose and handwriting if they were fortunate enough to attend school rather than always work on the farm. They took great pride in the written word. Most of what I see these days outside this site,( I think we do quite well in this forum) is both sad and depressing. We are regressing as a nation and people in so many different metrics.

I am far from perfect, and have less formal education than nearly everyone here. I don't feel that I am a "grammar Nazi" or that it is my place to correct other adults. In fact my own posts often lack punctuation, I am always on mobile and furiously banging out "stream of consciousness" posts with my 2 thumbs haha. I just worry over what i see from our society as a whole, because while there are certainly exceptions I believe it is very easy to see from social media that our youth and young adults are clearly moving backwards academically. Aside from my own subjective opinion the articles i have read point to us falling far behind other Western countries in every subject to varying degrees. I believe that is cause for concern and these stupid DEI policies will only make things worse.

I would say nobody is that stupid but Obama was elected twice so...that was a new low as Americans. Of course theres no such thing as a "floor" when the libs are trying to destroy this country and remake it in their degenerate Socialist utopia, so of course even the Barry admin seems like the "Good ole days" now. Imagine that.
