Legally speaking, they are. Freedom of speech (unless hate speech is illegal where fight occured) versus assault.
Fighting words aren’t protected speech. I also just think it’s funny that someone’s crusade is “the poor innocent people out there calling black people n****rs are being treated unfairly”

If Connecticut law is same as in Ohio, both parties ar victims. If not, the one assaulted is the victim.

I never said "poor innocent" anything and I never said "unfairly". I said that a black person who can't hear a word without almost murdering someone is exhibiting black fragility.

But the person resorting to using the N-word and then crying when it goes exactly how one would expect it to go is of course exempted from your “fragility” allegations for some reason
