He didn't really flesh out that thought, but I assumed he was referring to the lie that the way for women to have a fulfilling life is to eschew the idea of raising a family and instead dedicate their prime child bearing and rearing years to advancing their careers and helping billionaire ceo's get a bigger bonus.

I know the left can get their jimmies rustled at the smallest thing, but the whining and fabrication I've heard the past few days about what Butker said is shameful. It really seems like all the talking heads haven't actually read or listened to it. They're just going off what they heard someone else say or someone's interpretation.

He's mostly calling out catholic leaders for slacking in their duties for the first half of the speech or more. Being a stay at home parent is a good and honorable choice. Men be active in your families. And the the last large portion was about what kind of Catholic mass Catholics attend.

What good are bodycams if cops are allowed to turn them off...ever?

Its complete BS and should result in suspension without pay whenever it happens unless the cop can prove there was a malfunction in the camera. They should have to carry extra batteries or an extra camera in the glovebox of their cruiser too to prevent that from happening.

The point...purpose rather of these cameras is to protect CITIZENS from police infringing their rights or abusing THEM. The extra benefit of the cams is that for an honest, good cop the cams also protect the officer from any fraudulent claims of sexual assault by females, harrassment, police brutality, racism, or any other inappropriate conduct by folks they interact with who are looking to ruin the cop. There should be a no tolerance policy for cops without working bodycams though...they are either on and recording all the time, or they are worthless.

It’s for everyone’s protection. The Leo’s protection. The Citizen’s protection.

On at all times. No exceptions.

And not just “on duty”. If you are wearing your badge and a gun - cameras on, period.

Don’t want to run your camera when you are “off duty”? Take your badge and gun off.
