Just for clarity, I'd hire Gonzo over Voxx.

1. New suit.
2. Makes cool avatars.

How late you gonna sleep?

Where did/are you gonna stay at Disney. We have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, and the All Star Movies. I'm thinking we'll book the Coranado Springs. The cabins at Ft Wilderness look nice, not sure I want to drop another grand on the trip though.

Also, is Chef Mickey really worth eating dinner at 9 pm? Several people I have talked to says you have to take the kids there.

We have stayed at Saratoga Springs and Coranado Springs. We plan on staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in November. I loved Saratoga and did not care for Coranado. Coranado is their convention center - romms were meh and the reception center is a hike. Busing was slow to the parks as well, IMO.

I'm awake.

We do the character breakfast at Chef Mickey which the kids love. Have not done dinner there.

Still awake.

No breakfast available right now. only 3 late night dinners. We have did the breakfast at the Cape May cafe adn Nat loved it. Mickey and co was there in their hawiaii deco. Also with Pooh and friends at the Crystal Palace. I think the breakfasts are the way to go for the characters. The kids will eat better.

Didn't know this.... It's the only moderate with the free dining plan that's available on the dates we're going. Guess it'd either that, or one of the All Stars. The All Stars is only about 200 cheaper because we have to buy up from teh quick service dining.:dunno:

jhen try out Ohana, definitely great food and show for the kids, just no characters.

We have stayed at Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside, and Polynesian. I think Mrs Gnome is planning on French Quarter next year, but we might drop down to an All Star.

Wife and I loved Port Orleans Riverside. That's where we stayed on our honeymoon. The river boat to downtown Disney is cool. The All Star Movies was fine. You don't spend much time in the room (other than sleeping) anyway.

Is Ohana a dinner show? I'll check it out. We're not gonna use all out table service meals on Character dining. We loved the halo steam house at Epcot. Will prob do the Rainforest Cafe. May do the Aquarium dining at Epcot/little mermaid ride.

It is indoor at the Polynesian, it is not the luau. They bring the kids up for limbo and coconut races, live band and dancers.

We have stayed in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness. I loved it but RV did not. They are basically mobile homes made to look like cabins. All nice (Disney) inside but RV is a hotel snob. I liked being in the woods and close to the lake. Wilderness lodge was more RV's speed tho.
Our favorite has been the Old Key West except the only transportation out of there is bus. The kicker for me was the little pub near the pool. loved it.

The cabins will cost me about a grand more for 6 nights. I would love to. Not sure it's in the budget though.

Sister just texted me saying that she is being sent for an MRI on her knee. I think she tore her meniscus a few weeks ago. My response....

"Just tell 'em to get me a good pic and I'll do the rest. I have saws, drills, adn duct tape."

I ahvent' gotten a reponse yet.

That grossed me out. Germ-a-phobe!!!
The Polynesian resort is ok but not my fav.

We had a great time. Our room was on the end closest to the Transportation Center. We could get on the monorail, buses, or ferry in no time at all. The best part was we could sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom and not fight the crowds.

I stayed on the boats most of the time. I love that crap. I would just stay on and ride the whole route around the lake to all the resorts drinking my beer.
Cool thing tho, once on our 10 year anniversary, we had on our little buttons on that said so, and the pilot of the monorail saw them and let us ride in the cockpit of the monorail. K.E.W.L.

I got to ride in the monorail cockpit my with parents back in the 80's.

They don't do that anymore after that crash a couple of years ago.
