What I have read thus far it is possible suicide or he was running from security. But I do not always trust police statements. But it definitely doesn't sound like he was pushed. Sad that it happened.

A couple more notes. Think about how different NASCAR turned out from where it looked like it was headed in 2001. Especially from the perspective of Dale Earnhardt. He was back healthy that year and looked to be a legit contender for the title. His DEI team looked to be poised for a title as well, his son had a great rookie season, and Steve Park showed real talent. I think ole Dale would be shocked to see how everything actually panned out from then till now.

Yeah, I bet it would have been Different if he hadn't of gotten killed in the crash. He has prob turned over in his grave a few times with the decisions Teresa has made.
