Wow! That's a lot. I'm spending a little more than that for 6 nights of Disney.

it had 300k miles on it when he bought it. I actually tried to talk him out of it. He bought it for his 16 yr old son to drive. I told him I did not suggest doing it. He wanted it anyway. My conscience is clear.

I think my mother once cautioned me on selling a car to a friend, because anything that goes wrong with it may sour the friendship. However, I think we have sold at least 2 cars to family, so not sure what that says about what we think of our family. lol.

I have never put much fantasy stock in Martin. He won't get you killed, but I think he lacks the killer instinct to really force his way up the field.

Little DD had his best practice yet. Blew past a guy in drill for the QB sack. Tackled and caused a fumble in another. I didn't even tell y'all how bad it was last night with him wanting to quit after those 2 days off. God was good to get him to bounce back and have such a good practice. He even tackled the 110lber that essentially started all this dread for him. God is good.

It was funny though he tackled that big boy a little high and caused him to fall on little DD. I thought the water works would start but he hopped up and gave me a thumbs up. Big boys were struggling with the first hot weather we've had.

I didn't even tell y'all how bad it was last night with him wanting to quit after those 2 days off. God was good to get him to bounce back and have such a good practice. They can tell you I wasn't good with my son struggling. One of the worst weeks as a dad. It's looking brighter now. Got Sandy's interior stripped last night so I can finally start sorting out the rust in the floor boards. I had put it off all summer but I'm glad we're moving forward again. Realized how much I missed it.

I really want a project car. I would love to get an old civic and build it up for track usage. Cheap to do that, and I love the simplicity of cars.

I really want a project car. I would love to get an old civic and build it up for track usage. Cheap to do that, and I love the simplicity of cars.

It got a little more complicated than just being supportive. Prior that's what we were focuing on. He was wanting to quit because he had 1 really bad (mentally) practice. It messed him up. We had a lot of heart to hearts following that about seeing things through. It got dicey but he's back on track and now we are back to high fives and way to go's.

For the rust I am stripping it and doing most of the prep then I'm going to have a 4x4 fab guy patch and also brace since it's a unibody. I want some frame stiffeners so I know I'm good. Then I'll rust protect the floor and then rhino line it. At this point I'm still stripping the entire interior. Carpet was straight foul.
