I'm awake. Little DD's first day of school. Getting up earlier sucks but helps the morning report.

I look like my wife bopped me in the eye. It's all swollen up. Looks like I got into some poison ivy or poison oak while working in the yard Saturday. It's all on the back of my hand, eye, adn side right along the belt line.

Headed to the dr in a bit. This same crap happened to me last year. Looks like I need to take some roundup to the whole wood line. I've been wanting to clear out all the under brush anyway.

Should be fine watered down. I think recommended is 6 oz per gallon. I have to use 8 oz per gallon to really kill some of the brush at my house. Hasn't hurt any of the trees yet.

We have an ivy problem. I don't know what it is, but it is very invasive and came out of no where. Do you think regular herbicides will work?

They need better material.


Seriously, it's not my field of expertise and I don't want to give you bad information. I would use herbicides to get rid of it.

Poison ivy and poison oak does not react well with me. I actually have scar tissue from really bad cases.

This is neither poison ivy nor oak. It's a skinny vine with an arrow shaped leaf and climbs like a mofo. It covers the ground till it finds something to climb. I'll have to pull it out the things it is climbing then spray on the ground to see if it works. PITA.

One of our regular drivers that has been out with back surgery dropped by and brought me a coffee mug.
