I'm going with Hunter Mahan. He's finished in the top 10 in the first two majors this year, and... well, that's all that I'm going off of to pick him.

That 62 did cross my mind later after I'd already posted... but now I'm even more confident in my selection.

(Now looking forward to that opening round 77 from Mahan...)

Who I hope wins - Kenny Perry, David Duval or Greg Norman

5 to watch - Sergio (he's got the ball flight for it but probably not the putter)
Jim Furyk (he's steady)
Henrik Stenson (good wind player)
Justin Leonard (another solid wind player)
Lucas Glover (confidence)

Tiger's having a typically uneventful day one.

Westwood though, is doing quite well alongside Woods..

hahaha, I have not seen his wardrobe for the day, but Im guessing he is dressed to the nines. I recently heard an interview featuring him and he sounded like he was going to go all out for this tourny.

I like it, why not get all the attention that you can in a career supported by sponserships. Btw, there is a free iPhone app for the open that is pretty cool.
