my only problem with Tirico is the Tirico and Van Pelt show. Van Pelt is one of the few guys I like seeing on SC nowadays, but when they get together for their radio show, nothing gets accomplished. They talk and laugh and laugh and talk and two hours later they haven't really said anything.

That time slot has been a disaster for ESPN Radio since Dan Patrick left.

That time slot has been a disaster for ESPN Radio since Dan Patrick left.

I didn't know he was gone. He was just about the only thing I found tolerable on ESPN. When I've got it on sports talk, which isn't nearly as often in the silly season, I've got it on Fox. Those guys do a pretty good job, and they don't make me want to stick icepicks through my eardrums, unlike Cowherd and Rome.
