The 140th Open Championship

Phil's training wheels have fallen off again. I swear it looks like he loses focus and is just bored out there. I know he wants to win but whenever his confidence rises it seems he really has to start grinding.

On a side note, Clarke is been extremely lucky. He has had some unreal breaks today. He is playing well and taking advantage though.

Looks good for Darren now. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I hoped for DJ to close the gap a bit but no shocker that he threw it away.

Jumps over the bunker again. Wow, Clarke must be living right. I am happy for him and if he wins, I think no one deserves it more.

Hes gotten lucky.

Had never heard clarkes story before. Hard not to be happy for him

Yeah I don't get Lefty either.

Phil just hit into the second deck on 18. Think he well under 200 yards home.

Strange, to me that NBC is in the re-broadcast business. By the time they show it, anyone that wanted to see it already has.

great win for Clarke...

DJ and Phil really fell apart on the back 9

They weren't beating DC. He flat hit it better than everyone else ad it wasn't close. The field is lucky that e putted poorly Saturday, or it would have been a walkover.

Agree to an extent, but you could say the same thing about Phil's putting. I would venture that he missed more within 10 feet than DC.
