OF DESMOND JENNINGS.

Already dubbed as the next Rays superstar outfielder and heir if Carl Crawford is moved via trade or not resigned for next season. This prospect's best tool is speed. His offensive numbers are Crawford-esque. He is ranked the sixth best prospect for 2010 according to Baseball America's Top 100 prospects. He is projected to arrive to the Bigs this season.

P CASEY KELLY

This one time UT QB recruit, who elected to play baseball in the end, is among baseball's top 50 prospects (ranked 24th in the Baseball America Top 100 for 2010). His best tool is command. According to Baseball America, he is projected to arrive to the Show next season. If he experiences the same type of success he had last season, he may get the taste much earlier than expected.

NOTES: He was also an infielding shortstop with a superb bat. He was drafted in the first round of the 2008 MLB First-Year Draft. Played Team USA in last season's Futures Game.

I'm done with Gammons...now he can be an unabashed Red Sox homer since he's left ESPN where he used to have to, sort of, hold it in.

His the best in the business. Timmy and Jason were nice fill-ins for Pete but now will be tested big time as co-head baseball analysts for ESPN.

However, most of your hardcore baseball fans are now flocking over to the MLB Network-they just need to add a few more pieces to the lineup like Ravech and Gary Miller. I wished they added Chip Carey and put Vasgarsian to the B team.

Viewed as the next great Yankee catcher after Jorge Posada, this prospect is viewed as a power beast at the plate; hit 17 home runs in A ball and then hit 9 in AA before an injury. Ranked in the Top 5 (4) of Baseball America's Top 100 prospects of 2010.

Bell as the top prospect?
Brian Matusz made his debut last season and recorded a number of starts. Its expected he will be in the rotation this season. Bell has been getting attention in the organization lately and may takeover third base after Tejada is done.

I wasn't saying he wasn't any good, I just don't want Matusz unnoticed

Went to the Yanks/Rays spring training game at Steinbrenner Field yesterday and it was a blast. Sean Rodriguez put on a hitting show( he was one of the players in the Kaz deal) Hoping he can push for that RF position if Joyce continues to under preform .

Formerly a Dodgers farmhand, this third base prospect shows a potent bat. He showed he can bat from both sides of the plate. Projected as the successor to Miguel Tejada which might come sooner than later

The son of former big league pitcher Doug Drabek, this prospect was a centerpiece of that big offseason trade with the Phillies. Among Baseball America TOP 25 prospects in 2010. Has tremendous upside. His best pitch is the curveball. Played in the 2009 Futures Game for the USA Team

Nomar retires a Red Sox, and will join BBTN. Great, another Red Sox shill on ESPN. Exactly what they need.

So I guess we will see him next season. This is more sorry than what happened to that Mitchell kid down in White Sox camp with his tendon.
