The 2010 class will get us back to the top in the SEC

And I don't think there is anything wrong with establishing a solid base now with this class and then working to recruit over them.

If this is Dooley's strategy it would be genius.

Must get depth now to fill in gaps. There are a few elite players from 2010 and maybe a few from 2011 that will be studs as Juniors and Seniors. So go ahead and recruit over the 2011 depth with 2012 and beyond.

Pure genius.

Absolutely correct. :good!:

I was listening to 104.5 today and everyone on the show had the perception that we are getting dominated as far as recruiting in the SEC, and cited the fact that the only two teams behind us are Kentucky and Vanderbilt..... are we looking through orange shaded glasses or is this class acceptable?

You can't worry what Clay Travis or Mark Howard say. Recruiting is all about filling needs with evaluated coachable kids, not how popular a particular player is and how many stars he has been rated.

...and I typically like Clay Travis (he makes me laugh), but even Brent (sp. ? "the Mayor"), who's a UT guy, said on the show today that he disagrees with Clay 100% on this issue and thinks he's way off base.
