Yes that's part of it. ESPN has their people locked up typically. For example Vitale is calling the tournament for European broadcasts.I'm just curious though...does college basketball not have enough analysts to where they have to use a bunch of NBA guys? I'm hearing Avery Johnson on a telecast in addition to others. Does it have to do with college basketball analysts having contracts with ESPN?
Meh. At the end of the day, you're still in Jersey. A close friend taught at Sarah Lawrence (Bronxville, up past Manhattan) which was a great gig because the campus is beautiful and it's a relatively cheap and easy train ride into the city.Free/supplemented housing in the greater NY/NJ area is nothing to sneer at to be fair
One of the first 4 winners usually makes the Sweet 16. I have Pitt there too.There has been a double digit seed make the S16 in the last 14 tournaments. They’re the team I chose. Don’t like Xavier’s defense and if they go cold, they’re done. I like to pick teams that get a game under their belt early out of the “first four” and potentially make a run. Just a hunch tho
