The 2023 March Madness “Other Games” Thread

The right side of the bracket is gonna be awesome to take in the next few days. UCONN v Zags and (probably) Texas v Miami.

Could’ve been TN v KSU right now.

Can’t decide who I want to win. Not really a fan of either program.

I guess I want Creighton to win it all. Feel bad for people that only have corn fields to look at.

Right now I wouldn't mind some other schools sharing wih us the distinction of being upset by FAU.

Frankly, that would piss me off even more at how good of an opportunity we had to get to the Final Four and blew it.

How about Gonzaga? Then we can pump up our “epic pre-season scrimmage win” more than we already do?

I think we way underestimated FAU's athleticism. We knew they were quick, but we had size. I -- and many others-- thought we could dominate the boards and inside. We didn't do either and it was our death knell. They are strong, not just quick. They are doing the same thing against KSU.

FAU winning this and getting its first final four in its second ever tournament appearance would be so Tennessee.
I keep hearing if you be there to get there, but apparently you dont.

No doubt. That quickness came into play on the rebounds. They would move and be in position when our guys were still just “starting to move”. They are absolutely doing the same thing to KSU.
