These wins aren't flukes. FAU might be the case of they were always better than their seed; their sample size against good competition was just too small to know. They are 35-3 now. That's ridiculous. They can legitimately win the whole thing.

Against UT, I would see 3 white jerseys under the basket after a missed shot and a 6'2 guard or FAU guard would out hustle them for the rebound. Many times that game.

K-State has been to the elite three times in the past 13 seasons. They’re 0-3 and the losses came to Butler, Loyola, and FAU. Probably a tough pill to swallow for the fanbase.

Weren’t they picked to finish last or near last this year? I’m sure it stings for their fans, but expectations were low and they seem to have a good X’s and O’s coach in Tang. They’ll be back if they can get some recruits.

I believe that is true due to the coach and I want to say all/most of the five starters are/were all transfers?

(But obviously that is the problem with preseason rankings/projections/predictions, especially in college, and especially in basketball. Granted, it can make for good stories like KState this year)

Yeah, that seems to be the case. Getting Johnson was a nice get and Nowell can straight up ball out. Got hot at the right time and made a nice run.

I understand that the college game isn’t what it used to be, but This is as dominant a two weeks as I’ve seen any team have in my lifetime.

I'll admit I haven't watched a ton of college basketball this particular year, but I know Arkansas and Gonzaga are good teams. I saw both of these games, and UConn doesn't even look like they are putting forth a lot of effort in delivering these *** whippings.

Just a methodical, professional like thrashing.

After Arky knocked Kansas out, UConn has really had an easy draw until tonight. I thought the Zags would give them a better game, but I can see them easily winning it all from here.
