I don’t know if they would keep the team name, but that’s the team they’re targeting if the MLB says no to expansion.

Hard to believe MLB will not move forward with expanding. Too much money in it not to do it. It also helps to balance the league into two 4-division leagues.

Hard to believe MLB will not move forward with expanding. Too much money in it not to do it. It also helps to balance the league into two 4-division leagues.

I’m probably in the minority but I would like to see two 8-team divisions in each league. Would bring back some OG divisional rivalries before the last big realignment.

Braves draft pitching, and tend to prefer high school pitching, but will take college pitching. Rarely do they take position players in the early rounds.

More recently, it has been a mix of college and high school arms, but yes, Braves most always tend to go arms with their 1st rd picks.

It’s a tried and true process. Can never have enough pitching and best to draft 17 and 18 year olds to maximize their service time.
