He's like 32 years old. Would lose all bargaining power for next draft and $75,000 would be more than he would get even if he lit it up in 2025.

Yeah, still don't understand media and posters who both collectively opined that he wasn't as much of a risk to sign as previous junior transfers. They're all almost a guarantee to sign. Just go look at the bonuses of guys who have no option to return. Some guys are getting $1000 as a signing bonus.

I don't think the Rangers have a lot of highly ranked outfielders in their farm system. He could be in a good posion to move up pretty quick.
