I am very tempted to do so. I have waited all my life for tv coverage of grand am, and now I have it, nobody else could give a toss about it. :cray:

And Brian Johnson is there apparently? I saw him in a jumper, is he driving?

Also, Pastrana is there. I hate him. I hate the fact that a guy who describes everything as "like, totally awesome, bro" is the most gifted motorist ever. In anything. Anything with an engine, he can dominate in it.

Brian is driving, and in a prototype would you believe. I think he is in the 50+ predator Riley.

I just looked up the car.

It has a giant ad for the Nooga right across the front.

Brain Johnson is promoting Chattanooga. God help us.

Monaco, your kidding me. I have only ever seen two good monaco gp's in my life. 1997 and 2008. Worst race on the calendar IMO. It's so cliche to say Monaco is the best race, infact its just swamped with fair weather celebs and parades instead of races.

MONACO SUCKS. :shakehead:

Hey Milo, since you are in Portland Oregon, do you listen to ESPN radio 1080 the fan like me?

Thanks Stephen.

I will think about that every time I sit down to enjoy a Monaco GP.

Sometimes. IIRC Isaac and Suke is the only program on the station that's produced here in town. I love them though, every actual sports conversation lasts about three or four minutes then devolves into a 30 minute rant about something completely unrelated.

I flip between that and BBC radio.

Issac and Suke is pretty good. It's on at the perfect time for me, just as I go to bed.

You Listen to BBC radio? What for?

Sebring is so good, I will watch any series that races there. You could put a couple of snails on the track and it would still be an epic race.

The Oryx Audi R8 is having such a dismall race so far. I feel for them, especially my man Steven Kane.

Hey Nerd, whats that Bristol night race you speak of? Is that a endurance race?

Nascar race at the end of summer.

I ain't crying but I am much much much much more of a Grand Prix fan than a endurance racing fan.

I don't care for Grand Am racing because the Prototypes have never been pretty to look at. Until the Corvette prototype came out they all looked the same.

I don't really dig on the GT class because of how they are pretty much showroom stock bodies. I know that sounds odd, but I love the Le Mans series because the GT cars sport heavily flared fenders and are thoroughly designed with racing in mind.

My favorite kind of GT cars are DTM and SuperGT cars. Ones that resemble a street car but the designers have rebuilt it with racing in mind.

The only time I really enjoy showroom stock looking cars is in Touring cars and the Continental Tires Series.

That and NPR for news when I'm driving around.

I'm pretty bummed about the Superbowl this year and I just can't get into basketball this year for some reason. Maybe it'll kick in later. So sports radio is staying off the dial right now (with the aforementioned exception).

Fair enough my man. What ever floats your boat. What is the continental tires series?
