The All Things Cycling Thread

Used a different car rack and it scratched my bike. Pissed it has a mark but so glad the carbon fiber wasn't damaged.

Potentially ordering a Pinarello Dogma2 frameset and Dura-Ace DI2 component package tomorrow... unfortunately, not for me.

Going to California in August and driving my brother's car back from San Diego. Flying with my mountain bike and buying a car rack in San Diego. Gonna hit up Colorado, Utah, and Arizona on the way back.

wut

You're going to blow an opportunity like this by taking your mountain bike? :p

If I was in Colorado I'd want to ride up Mt. Evans or Trail Ridge Road. Epic.

"Ride up" does not compute...

Flying Southwest I can check two bags and a bike box can be one... maybe I can just take both bikes by having my mom or sister check the road bike and I'll check the mountain bike. Haha. I'd also like to fly out to Sacramento early and race in a criterium that a friend of mine puts on every Thursday night... Long ways away, though.

OK, ride up and then ride back down.

Yes. That's more like it.

Just installed new Speedplay cleats and adjusted my saddle height. May need to go up a little still, but I'm almost ready for the hometown criterium on Monday. Training rides tomorrow morning and night.

I was told I could have the Felt AR4 on the floor for $50/week payroll deducted... Thinking super hard about throwing my ZC on eBay and just moving right on up.

I might take that deal

I'm seriously considering it since I can probably get more out of my ZC than what I paid for it. That'll cover nearly all of the AR4 and I'm building a city bike anyways. I'll use the AR4 as the road race and group ride bike, while using the Rocky Mountain Whistler for my errand bike.

However, I'd really like to upgrade my mountain bike to a 29er by the beginning of next season, at the latest. I'm looking at a Felt Nine Race, full XT... I can get that for a song and a dance. Guess I'll have to prioritize.

The AR4 would be the coolest bike in town, though.
