The All things Lane Kiffin Car Accident Thread (merged)

If he is charged with leaving the scene of an accident in Tennessee, that could quite likely end with his termination at USC. I doubt they fire him for an affair, but any other illegal actions could result in his termination.

True. Good point.... although I don't think USC would fire him for that.

Assuming this is true, for the sake of argument, at least: If he wasn't charged for leaving the scene by KPD or KCSO at the time the incident occurred, could they come back and charge him with it now? Assuming this is true, for argument's sake, wouldn't KPD or KCSO already have decided to sweep this under the rug at the time it happened? I'm just thinking they likely wouldn't come back and charge him with it now, just because by doing so they'd have to admit they should have charged him with it the first time. If that makes sense. (Again, all this assuming the wreck story is true.)

I've known a number of 19 year olds much more mature than a certain 34 year old that coaches football.

Age generalizations can be just as stupid as race generalizations. We have 19 year olds fighting for us in Iraq and Afghanistan right now that are more mature than a lot of 40+ year olds I know, so I don't think it is fair to challenge someone's integrity based solely on their age.

I loved this post. Awesome.

What kind of trouble could the co-ed's get into for (lying) at the scene of the accident if they lied?? If they didn't then KCPD swept this under the rug :whistling:. This doesn't sound good any way you sweep it!!! Just hope X gets whats coming to him but afraid more will come from it...

I am not a lawyer or a cop, and I hate when people pretend to be... but I would assume that the statue of limitations for the offense in that time period has not yet expired, so the KPD just has to say that it was "under investigation," I would assume. Now I'll wait for a cop or lawyer to correct me.

ok hat got me a little freaked out. I'm not getting anywhere near those links

basically its the coed picture with Tomlin, and it points out one of the people is Layla, and one is Reaves. They also say no cars were wrecked and no coeds were ****ed.

Oh Yea, TMZ is not in Knoxville (according to that article)
