The All things Lane Kiffin Car Accident Thread (merged)

I'm not sure which reflects worse on the school....the "riot" or this pathetic, whiny thread.

This is kind of like rubbernecking on the interstate. You don't want to see blood and guts, but somehow it is fascinating. Just being honest.

That's also the same age where somebody would be super immature and pissed about the whole deal in order to make up something like this.

I've known a number of 19 year olds much more mature than a certain 34 year old that coaches football.

Age generalizations can be just as stupid as race generalizations. We have 19 year olds fighting for us in Iraq and Afghanistan right now that are more mature than a lot of 40+ year olds I know, so I don't think it is fair to challenge someone's integrity based solely on their age.

Being in Iraq or Afghanistan has nothing to do with being more mature.

Haha ... ok way to take my point WAY over the edge. Exaggerate much? And yes, it probably is a generalization. But, generalizations are right more than they're wrong. So, like I said, I'll believe this story when, and if, pictures show up.

wow. totally agree

I would have to wholeheartedly disagree with you. I have seem boys go off to war and come back more of a man than any of us on this board.

You are either serious or you have too much time on your hands.......Do you have more info that you are not sharing?

I actually had the day off and we didnt have class today so yes I had nothing better to do. I have been gathering up my information over the past couple of days. Thanks to ______ I sent the information to Chuck Oliver in the ATL. Word is the guy knows some info as well.

I'm just saying... I graduated college a few years ago, and I'm working in the business world now and have noticed that a large number of my coworkers that are twice my age are more immature/immoral than any of my friends in college ever were... so the idea that some certain age group has a monopoly on integrity could not be more false. I've sent a few PMs to this guy that is talking about his sources, and he seems legitimate. Maybe I'm naive for trusting him, but it is better than being a cynical person that dismisses a seemingly legitimate source solely because of their age.

You are tought respect, discipline, honor, integrity, and many other maturing qualities before being sent over there. Once most experience it, they grow up pretty quick as well.

And, I'm just saying that IN GENERAL, younger people are more immature than older people. You can't argue that. Granted, there are exceptions. I'm not arguing that either. But, if I had to bet an age of someone who would pull a stunt like this, I would hedge toward a 19 year old over a 39 year old.

If you want to believe the guy, believe him. I just want to see evidence before I believe him. You were probably the same guy that bought into Kiffin hook, line, and sinker.
