1. A ****ing diaster.

2. Jarnell Stokes got in foul trouble. Jarnell became disinterested in the game. That can't happen anymore. You are a junior.

3. A ****in disaster.

4. Why didn't Cuonzo call a timeout? There is no excuse for that. NONE. You call that and get a decent look.

5. The defense in the second half was abysmal. They played awful off ball and they had no help on drives. Tennessee cannot let that happen. If Tennessee wants to compete for an SEC title, they must play defense EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.

6. The offense wasn't bad considering the heavy doses of absences from McRae and Stokes, but too many turnovers. I thought the spacing was fine, but UT didn't shoot great from outside, and that hurt the some. Tennessee really missed McRae's driving ability.

7. Jeronne Maymon really did a great job controlling the boards without Stokes. That was nice to see him fight for those rebounds. He had some huge ones down the stretch.

8. Cuonzo Martin needs to use this as a teaching lesson that you must focus every second like they did against LSU. They had a 12 point halftime lead and A&M had a chance for the win. That can't happen at home. Inexcusable even.

9. Again, a ****ing disaster. Free throws.

10. This should never ever had happened. They should have won by 15 however. Had McRae and Stokes not got in foul trouble, this game would not have been close. But you know what? **** like that happens in basketball. You can't really think about that, you go out and play and step up. This is a really bad performance and just when they pulled you in, they do this. Just unbelievable. A horrible disaster.

That loss is crushing, they stopped playing and coaching at halftime, that's freaking horrible.

Now you've got to either win at Rupp or at Florida to try and make up for that.

Honestly shouldn't we have expected this? They seem to do this frequently, get on a little roll then crap the bed. It's beyond annoying.

A microcosm of the Cuonzo Martin era so far. Play real well, blow out a couple of decent teams, and then lose, at home, to a team we have absolutely no business losing to.

I'd say I've had it, but I'll be around for the next one. Against my better judgment.

A lot of blame to passed around on that one.

I never thought they would lose. Even when A&M got all the breaks down the stretch.

Just horrible that you don't call that time out.

I've said NIT since the loss to Zavier. Our coaching is poor. They are hard headed and think there is only 1 way to play - we should have run A&M out of the gym.

BTO, you were taking bets about making the tourney, I'll take all you are willing to lay out there. This coaching staff is not tourney worthy. It's like I heard somewhere the other day...they play more NIT games in Knoxville than in Madison Square Garden these days.

On a side note, the sudden boom of "the world is on fire" and "it's ok everybody" threads will be fun.

Tennessee is consistently inconsistent

This is 100% truth.

I couldn't watch the majority of the second half, so imagine my surprise to come back to a 4 point game with 5 minutes left.

In those 5 minutes, I saw the worst defense, the worst PG play; the worst effort, the worst shooting, and worse game management by the coaching staff since the NCSU debacle.

This is the very type effort of a weak-minded, mentally soft team across the board. And it starts at the top IMO. Martin can't go out there and make shots, but he can prepare his team to be prepared and mentally tough, and they just aren't. Tougher breed my rear end.

To make it further frustrating, we will probably roll Auburn by 25 and play UK on the road within 4-6 points to make this loss sting even more.

Just when you it looks like CCM has turned it around, we get this.

We finished the game with three timeouts. They should have called a timeout from the bench when McRae got trapped in the corner. They should have literally had a finger on the timeout-trigger just in case of a trap when we had so many left.

And, yeah, a timeout on the final play once the ball reached midcourt would have been wise.
