Over 100 families defrauded. Countless subcontractors duped. We had 4 liens on our house from subs that were not paid. Guess who had to pay them. Me. On our case alone, he stole $90,000 and left the house unfinished. We had to hire another contractor to finish it, so now I'm in debt $190,000 to the bank where I would have moved in with the house paid off from the sale of my original house. But that one went from $169,000 to $49,000 in a blink of an eye when the market collapsed.

Bright side to this AC story today. RV is a smart chick. She inspected the coil when they removed the old one. It was covered in insulation. She took pics and asked the tech about it. He said that probably shortened the life of our AC and was done at the original installation. Well this company is the one who redid our duct work after we had a new coil put in. So they are the cause of the insulation on the coil and the shortened AC life.
I see a substantial discount coming our way if I know my wife at all.

Yeah whoops. I figured to be fair about it, my AC life was probably shortened by 3 years if you consider a 10 warranty as a lifespan. So I told her to get 30% off the new unit since our is 7 years old. Sound reasonable?

Damn Comcast. Twice in one week I've scheduled them to come out to fix one outlet, I take off work, and then they have me scheduled for the following day after I've confirmed the right day with them.
