The anchor on fox was practically weeping with joy last night

Would you expect anything different coming from young people?

Depends on your definition of that. I am 24 with a college education. Unfortunally there are many departments around mine at work that employ young, uncaring, "should be working at abercrombie" type of young people.

I watched Fox News almost all night last night, just because I love watching depression set in.

you clearly weren't watching the right channel. They were downright glowing and i'm not kidding.

I did find the video of Dems celebrating outside the White House quite humorous. Especially the part where they were carrying a Soviet flag

I watched all of them, including Fox, and I didn't see depression from anyone all night, except Mort Kondracke, who was trying to temper the lunacy about the likelihood that Obama shifts toward the center.

Can we at least put to rest this theory that racism is the largest problem in this country? if a socialist black man named barrack hussein obama running on a campaign of income redistribution can win with a majority of the votes, this country is not filled with racists.
You're really uninformed, aren't you. It is amazing how little people really know about things. Obama didn't run on a campaign of income redistribution, but whatever, you obviously aren't going to read, in any detail, his economic plan, so arguing with you is like arguing with a first grader.

But I will enlighten you with some facts about racism........24% of voters said race influenced their vote and 69% of that number were whites voting against Obama

Can't argue with stone cold facts

Obama will shift to the center. Just watch.

because he has been such a centrist for his career and all of his platform policies were almost extreme left.

I think I'll just believe you because you're you.

Come on, he is a poltician and he plays his part to get what he wants. If he wants to stay in power he has no choice but to move center just like Clinton did.

If you believe any of that polling garbage is fact, stop debating here please, as you don't have the ability to reason through that which you're discussing.

please explain like you would to a first grader how raising taxes on the rich and giving it to the poor is anything but income redistribution.

The smugness of the left has been downright disgusting. They seem to think that they will rule the country for the rest of the century. 2 years from now they will have a nice wake up call when the republicans take back the senate.

It will take some monumental screw-ups in the next 2 years, considering the Senate seats that are up in 2010. Out of the 15 that will be up, I would say the Republicans don't have a chance in hell at about 8 of them.

They were helped along immensely by one of the most idiotic gaffes I have ever seen in a Senate race, but I see what you are saying.
that crap happens and really bad presidents change many perspectives, even against ingrained ideology.

I'm not saying Obama will be that bad, but the opportunity is certainly there.

I would venture to say the opportunity is always there though.

and you're right.

I sincerely want Obama to be the smoking home run that his supporters believe him to be. If he is, who cares what happens at the Senate level?

I think certain members of his Cabinet will please some of the conservatives on here.

I can do nothing but speculate right now though. I think Lugar and Hagel will have some place in this administration.

I don't think anyone really pays any attention to the advisors.

Bush had an amazing team assembled the first time around and ran aground because the idiot started believing he was the smart one in the room because our idiotic electorate picked him.

I agree, I hope Obama doesn't develop that extreme arrogance.
