Oh Please. he gave Arsenal a penalty in the 8th minute of extra time too. Eboue was just dumb as usual

Best end to a match this sunday - YouTube

edit: That wasn't Webb because that ref has hair..and isn't ripped.

edit 2: Love at the end will Kenny tells Arsene to "piss off"

Dalglish saying piss off was probably one of my favorite moments in soccer this past year.

First, the penalty was awarded for an actual foul in the 97th minute of the match with 8 added minutes. Also, the announcers even admitted that the ref was conned into it by Kuyt, and I wasn't stating it was Webb.. I was saying I believed it was Atkinson. I am fairly sure Arsene got his bit in as well. Probably something with a little more wit.

Aresne probably yelled something in French, thought of how he was going to blame the refs in his post game interview, then went and hugged his lover boy Pat

The second wasn't an actual foul? did Eboue not run over Lucas in the box?? it was a fair result

So are United really shopping Berbatov? Bayern was mentioned with him but I have no idea why we would sign him.

I still don't understand why Mourinho continues to try using Pepe at midfield for the el classicos. it has yet to work even slightly. All it does is leave Ronaldo and Benz on an island up top being less than useful.

All this game did is refresh my dislike for Barca's attitude to how the game is played (minus Puyol and Messi)

I find comments like this so weird. Madrid literally try and injure Barcelona players the entire ****ing game every time we play. You realize that both teams are diving all over the place? Did you see Pepe go down and hold his face when Cesc didn't even touch him? And then purposefully stomp on Messi's hand two minutes later.

My statement isn't in regards to real vs barca but the idea of Barcelona being the best side ever. These games have become unbearable to watch as there is no class either in the play or the sportsmanship. I mean the 2 goals barca scored were a corner to puyol and abidal making a shot I could've taken compliments to a useless altintop.

Every single time someone flops or rolls around ( ala busquets) five players are in the refs face asking for a card. It was kind of exciting to watch the first few games but now it's just boring.

Also I've had it with this idea that all Barcelona players come through the academy and are themselves Catalans. In reality they have just as much money as real or mancini and the boys and as the past few transfer windows show they aren't afraid to let people know. The whole saga for fabregas was horribly unprofessional and likely contributed to arsenals rough start to the year.

I am in no way defending pepe I think he's dirty and past his worth and mourinho could and should upgrade the defense

But this idea of Barcelona being the pinnacle of all things good in soccer is outrageous. The Spanish league is still utter crap. Go play stoke at the brittanica on a cold rainy English night and then I'll be more impressed.

Edit: just my opinion :)

You don't think this Barca generation is one of the best teams of all time?

And are you seriously complaining about the quality of goals scored? You are an EPL fan. If I have to watch a team just throw in useless crosses in the whole game, I will shoot myself in the face. I'm sorry Abidal's goal wasn't flashy enough for you. The assist was certainly world class.

And we usually purchase one big player each summer. We aren't buying an entire squad like Manchester City or Madrid. Yes, we bought Cesc and Alexis this summer, but Cesc is special :) And the majority of our starting lineup did come from our youth academy in some form or fashion.

Good day for the Yanks. Dempsey on a hat trick, LD showed well for Everton, and the Nat (light) team pulled one out in the end against Venezuela.
